English 10 is a challenging course which explores the British literary tradition. Throughout the school year, we will study works in a variety of genres: fiction, non-fiction, drama, and poetry. We will also focus heavily upon preparation for the MCAS, which all sophomore students will take in the spring of 2010. Daily homework assignments and long-term project-based assessment will offer students interesting opportunities to demonstrate their understanding of course material.
